I am anxious to see my paycheck on Monday. Teachers were able to donate their sick days to me in order to help me out, which is awesome. I am curious to see if my pay has been reduced yet or if there were enough donations to cover the month. I know the reduced pay is coming, but I guess it will be a surprise when it gets here. Kinda like my medical bills. My disability application is still being "processed." Because I just signed up for it in August, they are having to do a lot of background verification. Regardless of how it all works out, I am still going to keep my kids home with me to save money. Unfortunately it's the only place we can cut. Monday will be their last day until August. It will be like a really long summer break. Thank goodness my friend gave me a Wii (yes, gave me one!), because I have a feeling we will be playing it a lot! I still feel awful for my daycare provider. She has been so good to us, and the kids absolutely love her. I really hope we can afford to put the kids back at least part time in the upcoming months. We will see how it goes... if you know anybody who is looking for daycare in Wildomar, please let me know! I'd love to refer her.
Yesterday I took Jenna and her friend to Sea World because rain is in the forecast all weekend. They had a blast but I was exhausted. Then her other friend wanted to take her to Build a Bear for her birthday, so we did that last night when we got back. At dinner I almost fell asleep in my food, but it was all worth it. She has had such an amazing birthday, and I refused to allow my condition to slow down the celebration.
I'm looking forward to a nice (albeit rainy) weekend with my family. My calm before the storm.
