On April 26th I got my scan. It was a lot of wait time (drink this, wait 45 minutes. Drink more, wait another 45 minutes). But the scan is so painless and easy, other than holding your arms over your head.
Yesterday I met with a chiropractor who said I have a lot of knots in my back. I guess he contributes this to stress as well. He did some adjusting and he thinks it will help with any tingling or numbness in the future.
Today, April 30th, I met with Dr. Link for my usual 3 month follow up and the first thing he said was "Your scan came back clear. You had me worried!" I'm happy that I FINALLY got a PET-CT after all of the battling I do to get that approved (and usually denied). I guess all you have to do is make them think something is actually wrong. Well, now I know. Other than my usual cysts on my ovaries, I look healthy.
Dr. Link said there has been no evidence of relapse or metastatic disease, so I go back to see him on July 30th for my usual follow up. All good news!
