Sunday was the DWBH benefit concert. It was so nice that Chris could be there along with some of our great friends. The Ray Johnston band played great music; they sound a lot like Dave Matthews Band. The lead singer has had leukemia 4 times, and he is still rocking out like a champ- and has been cancer free for 16 months! I am so thankful to my friend who introduced me to the DWBH shirts family. It is so rewarding to be a part of such an amazing group of people! I am so fortunate and grateful. DWBH shirts has paid ALL of the medical bills I have sent... which totals $1528.68 so far. I have $500 more in bills that I just got in the mail, and I love that I DON'T have to WORRY about them- instead, I get to BE HAPPY! How great is that?
Speaking of generosity... I got my paycheck and guess what? I am still on my regular salary. Can you believe it? I have been off work since January 12th. That means I've had at least 50 sick days donated to me from other teachers! I am so loved! Every time I have to pay for an expensive prescription, or some other bill, or I start to worry even a little bit, then boom- a check from a friend shows up in the mail. The blessings are overwhelming. This cancer doesn't stand a chance at winning! Attitude is everything and I can't help but smile every single day.
