On October 5th, I was given the amazing opportunity to go to Glen Ivy Hot Springs and do a photo shoot for breast cancer awareness. 9 survivors, chosen by the lovely Bosom Buddies, received a free pink bathing suit, free massage, free makeup, free breakfast, a free private cabana and a free day to spend at Glen Ivy. It was so much fun! I love meeting other survivors. All of our stories are unique. We were of different ages, different demographics, and different types and stages of breast cancer. Having cancer is not something I ever anticipated or wanted. But I am so thankful to call myself a survivor, and to have the opportunity to bring awareness to the world that cancer doesn't care who you are. I also love being a constant reminder to others that staying positive is the key to your optimal health and well-being overall. Thank you to the Bosom Buddies for being there for my family during my journey, and remembering me and including me in the event at Glen Ivy. Oh, and thanks for the bracelet too! I am so grateful!
