My chemo brain has gotten really bad. I had to ask my friend the same question at least 3 times tonight, because I literally forgot the answer. My daughter asked me for food, and I would walk into the kitchen and forget why I was there. She had to remind me several times. I think she's getting frustrated with me! I know I'm getting frustrated with me!
My friend was telling me about a woman she knows with the same cancer I have who has just let herself go. She doesn't eat because her mouth sores are so bad. She doesn't get out of bed. She has skipped a few treatments because she just doesn't want to go. If you know someone like this, please pray for them, hug them, love them, and encourage them to change their perspective. Everything is temporary. We are here... we are alive... so dangit, we should act like it! Carpe Diem!
And remember: if you think you're having a bad day... at least you didn't have diarrhea at your neighbor's house! Party foul!
In other news- The Bosom Buddies posted a thank you in our local newspaper, The Friday Flyer, and it mentions my name. You can read it here: BosomBuddies
